This prize serves to highlight the technical creativity and capacity of Québécois startup companies.

“When we started this company a few years ago, it was to help people suffering from excessive sweating of the hands, feet, and underarms. It’s a dream come true. It wouldn’t be possible without our partners, and our team who helps those living with hyperhidrosis every single day. Winning this prize is a great motivator to continue our innovative efforts and work on new technologies to further help the millions of people worldwide living with this condition” said Mathieu Mireault, Dermadry’s Director of Sales, upon proudly accepting the award during the virtual gala.
Dermadry is dedicated to empowering individuals who are affected by excessive sweating, a medical condition known as hyperhidrosis that affects approximately 1 in 20 people worldwide.Their iontophoresis machine distinguishes itself through its affordability, intuitive use, and its cutting-edge technology.
In 2018, Dermadry became the first and only Health Canada licensed iontophoresis machine. Since then, they have obtained FDA clearance and CE marking, allowing them to help an increasing number of people every year obtain the dryness they deserve to achieve peace of mind. Dermadry was developed as the answer to the lack of availability, archaic designs, and absence of user-friendly interfaces of traditional iontophoresis machines. These outdated devices negatively impacted efficiency, and put a lot of people off to the idea of it as a viable treatment option deserving of recognition in the medical sphere.
Dermadry strives to improve the visibility and viability of iontophoresis treatment in the public and medical spheres, so that more people suffering from this common medical condition have a safe, effective, non-invasive treatment option at their fingertips. Dermadry’s research and development team are dedicated to developing new technologies, features, and products to enable more people globally to live comfortably and confidently sweat-free.
