Dermadry Launches Community-Focused Initiatives for Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month 2025

This November, Dermadry is proud to lead a series of global initiatives in recognition of Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month. This reaffirms the company’s mission to foster open, honest, and empowering conversations about hyperhidrosis, a condition that causes excessive sweating beyond what the body needs. It affects approximately 385 million people worldwide.

Hyperhidrosis is often called the silent handicap: the sweating is typically hidden from plain view, but it takes a heavy toll on a person's daily life physically, mentally, and even socially. This is why Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month emphasizes breaking the silence around this underdiscussed condition.

Throughout the month, Dermadry is creating safe and supportive spaces for individuals with hyperhidrosis to share their experiences, ask questions, and access credible information.

This month-long campaign will feature Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions, a live talk on Instagram, and community discussions across major social media platforms.

Watch out for the following dates:

November 7 & 10 - 24-hour AMAs will be hosted in hyperhidrosis community groups on Facebook.

November 13 - An hour-long Instagram Live titled Hyperhidrosis Awareness: Understanding the Silent Condition will be hosted on Dermadry’s official Instagram account (@Dermadry), with guest speaker Dr. Lawrence Green, MD, FAAD, a dermatologist and medical expert. The discussion aims to educate viewers on what hyperhidrosis is, how it impacts those living with it, and what treatment options are available, all while helping to break the stigma and silence surrounding the condition.

November 19 - Another 24-hour AMA will be held on Reddit, where many come to share experiences and tips on hyperhidrosis.

These initiatives aim to dismantle stigma, amplify patient voices, and build a global support network rooted in understanding and empathy. Dermadry’s goal for Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month 2025 is simple: to normalize the conversation.

In addition to live events, Dermadry’s online information campaign will share educational content across its social channels, spotlighting real experiences, treatment options, and the latest insights into hyperhidrosis care.

Dermadry’s commitment to raising hyperhidrosis awareness is year-round. Dermadry works with the International Hyperhidrosis Society to provide comprehensive information about the medical condition and effective solutions like iontophoresis, benefiting both patients and medical personnel alike.

Dermadry also attends exhibits, conferences, and trade shows, where they connect with medical professionals and industry leaders to share innovations in hyperhidrosis treatment. They also partner with institutions and universities to help deepen academic and practical expertise in diagnosing and treating hyperhidrosis.

Dermadry’s initiatives align with its broader mission to promote transparency and patient education around hyperhidrosis. As a global leader in iontophoresis treatment, Dermadry continues to advocate for accessible, evidence-based solutions while highlighting the importance of community and compassion in healthcare.
